Fort Wilderness Cabims on 12/22/2005 by W Von Kanel We just returned from Fort Wilderness Cabins. The cabins were absolutely wonderful. They were very roomy and very clean. Housekeeping came by everyday. The transportation around the campground and from the campground to the parks was great. We never waited over 10 minutes for a bus. There was boat transportation to Magic Kingdom. It took around 10 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom from the campground. My only recommendation is to rent a golf cart. It is very pricey but was worth every penny. Getting around the campground would be more of a hassle without the golf cart. If you decide not to rent a golf cart, there is a bus that runs every few minutes throughout the campground. The only hassle with that is that you take a campground bus to get to the main bus stop and then you get on another bus to the parks. The campground was very quiet and very clean. I would recommend the cabins to any family. It beat staying in a hotel any day!!!! Read reviews by W Von Kanel
I loved it.. on 11/15/2003 by Priscilla I went back during spring break of 99, and absoutely loved it there. I am an out doorsy type of person, so staying in the cabins fit me to a T. We were not able to get a golf cart, and were told they book up months in advance. My kids loved roasting marshamallows at night, and horseback riding. They also enjoyed the petting zoo as well. The inside of our cabin was very clean and well kept. It surpassed my expectations. I do not know if the buses have changed, but I remember the Crockett,Boone, Chip and Dale buses that drove through the resort area. By the time we were ready to leave I was finally learning which bus went where. I loved being able to get on the boat and head to the Magic Kingdom. The ONLY time I had to drive my car during my entire stay is when I headed over to the trading post to get some snacks and food to cook for breakfast. My husband likes the fact that you have a grill to cook on, and he loves to grill out. We didnt get to do the Hoop Dee Do musical review, because there were no tables available. We did however get to make it to the Trail Ends buffet, and enjoyed it there. We are the type that like good country and southern cooking so we fit right in. I would highly recommened the cabins for any families, especially those who like the outdoors.

Our family loved the Wilderness Cabins on 3/20/2003 by Christie Our family stayed in the cabins in 2001. They were much nicer than we expected. We are a family of four, and had plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. My suggestion is to request a cabin near the front, close to the pool. Farther back near the camp sites, its more crowded and louder. We had a peacock that visited us everyday, and would eat from the kids hands. Read reviews by Christie
